A. In the event of a student being refused a visa by the French Embassy or Consulate before arriving in France before the start of the program, all tuition fees paid will be refunded to the student minus an administrative cost of 500 euros upon receipt of the visa refusal letter from the French authorities.
B. In the event of a student not obtaining a grant, scholarship or U.S. Student Loan (administered by the U.S. Department of Education), all tuition fees paid will be refunded minus an administrative cost of 500 euros upon receipt of proof of the scholarship application and refusal of the scholarship before the start of the program.
C. In the event of a student no longer wanting to come onto the program, and on the condition that GEM is informed at least 2 weeks before the official start of the program, the following penalties will apply: - the 1 200 euro deposit will be kept by Grenoble Graduate School of Business - the student administrative fee of 500 Euros will be kept by Grenoble Graduate School of Business In the event of a student no longer wanting to come onto the program, and if the minimum notice period of 2 weeks is not respected, the student will be liable for 50% of the total tuition fees.
D. If a student does not turn up on the first day of the program and does not give prior warning that he/she will not be attending the program the student will be liable for full tuition fees.
E. In the event of a student not obtaining a visa because of false papers (references, degree certificates etc) Grenoble Graduate School of Business will refund only 50% of the total tuition fees paid upon receipt of the visa refusal letter from the French authorities.
F. If a student postpones his place until the following intake and then decides he/she does not want to do the program, the deposit (or an amount equal to the deposit) will be kept plus 25% of the total tuition fees.
G. If a student has received a conditional acceptance which requires him/her to obtain a high school diploma, Bachelor's degree, resit a GMAT test or English language test and the test results prove to be insufficient leading to the student not obtaining a place on the program then GEM will keep the deposit and the administrative fees but refund any tuition fees paid. However an applicant may defer to the next intake of the program.
H. ATOUT+3 candidates who have passed the competitive entrance examination and secured a place onto the BIB full 3 year program by paying a deposit of 1200 Euros will have their deposit refunded in the event that the student does not obtain his baccalauréat. In no other circumstances will the deposit be refunded.
I. If a student wishes to leave the program on or after the first day of the first semester no tuition fees will be refunded.
J. In the event that a student does not attend a program or has to leave a program before the end of the taught part through serious unforeseen circumstances (death, accident, or serious illness) a specific committee will examine each case on an individual basis.
K. In the event of exclusion from the program or from the School or non-validation of the degree sought students remain liable for the full payment of tuition fees and no refunds are authorized.
L. Any tuition refunds will be made either by bank transfer directly to the student's bank account or by cheque. The student will pay all corresponding bank charges, commissions and losses according to the exchange rate. Under no circumstances will the administrative fee be reimbursed to a student.
M. Off site students should consult the partner institution's fees policy for all questions concerning fees and refunds.
