Grenoble Ecole de Management becomes the first Business School in the world, and the first higher education institution in France to join the prestigious International Telecommunication Union (ITU), the United Nations specialized agency based in Geneva.

ITU provides an academia membership to promote collaboration between governments (193 Member States), regulators and the private sector as a premier neutral global forum in which members shape and define a wide range of issues affecting the future direction of the ICT industry.

GEM’s membership is a unique opportunity to engage in regional and global debates, contribute to best practices and international standards via sectors and study groups, and share our expertise and access training and specialized seminars.

GEM’s Research Professor Nathalie Devillier is the school focal point and is part of the ITU Kaleidoscope Technical Programme Committee. The ITU Kaleidoscope Conference, to be held in Bangkok, Thailand, on 14-16 November 2016, aims at increasing the dialogue between experts working on the standardization of Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs) and academia.
