DBA: Celebrating the 25th anniversary

Doctoral Knowledge Community
Published on
25 January 2018

The Doctorate of Business Administration program was founded by Jean-Jacques Chanaron and Thierry Grange in 1993 with the original idea of creating a doctoral program for managers. Over its 25 years, the program has grown, and we have developed various academic partnerships and have proudly graduated more than 300 DBA alumni.

The Doctoral Knowledge Community (PDF)

The doctoral team is still moving forward, training new students, offering new services, and building its doctoral community. The quality of our graduates’ doctoral theses reflects our dedication to relevant research, our aim to answer the needs raised by organizations, and our commitment to be a school for business and for society.

This third edition of the Doctoral Knowledge Community highlights the work of not only our DBA students but also our PhD students. For the first time, the book brings together the theses abstracts of the 2013 to 2017 graduates of both programs. As before, it presents all the intellectual contributions from all doctoral programs since the beginning of the doctoral school. This world-class research is the pride of Grenoble Ecole de Management, and we continue to be honored to share the work of our doctoral fellows.

We congratulate and thank our students and graduates for their hard work, determination, and trust.
