Seminar : The Impact of Intrinsic Incentives on the Extrinsic Incentives
Professor Thevaranjan’s research revolves around agency theory and organizational control. The main contribution of his research has been in extending the principal-agent framework to study issues pertaining to ethics and effort allocation. He teaches courses in financial and managerial accounting and has a special interest in teaching students to understand the role of ethics in organizational decision making. In the past, he also directed the Whitman/SU summer internship program in Singapore.
