INNOVATION AND ORGANIZATION

Marie-Léandre Gomez is Associate Professor, Accounting and Management Control Department at ESSEC. His research focuses on learning dynamics and the use of management tools on the business. His two main current research projects focus on Michelin's impact on the creativity of Michelin-starred chefs and the use of quality and safety indicators by doctors and caregivers in hospitals.

Marie-Léandre Gomez teaches in Grande Ecole / Ms in Management programs, continuing education programs and the PhD. She is Academic Director (with Gérard de Pouvourville) of General Hospital Management. From 2013 to 2016, she was coordinator of the management control team, and from 2014 to 2016 elected member of the Senate of Professors, Academic Committee, Ethics Committee and Academic Evaluation Commission of ESSEC.

Dirk Lindebaum joined Cardiff Business School in March 2016 as a Professor in Organisation & Management. He obtained his PhD from Manchester Business School (MBS) in Organisational Psychology. Previously, he held a visiting professorship at Hanken School of Economics (Finland), and was a Reader at the University of Liverpool Management School. Between 2008 and 2010, he was a  postdoctoral fellow at MBS. Before entering academia, he also completed an apprenticeship as a carpenter.

Although trained in  Organisational Psychology, his interest in  better understanding organisational phenomena  involving emotional processes and consequences draws also on sociological approaches of late, especially in terms of advocating normative theories. This has also bearings on his critiques on  the use of neuroscientific theories and methods in the study of organisational behaviour.
