The aim of this research is to analyze the global financial linkages of US equity markets, specifically on two style-based investment categories, growth and value equities. The findings of global economic linkages are used to test several global asset pricing models extending the currently used models, so risk is properly captured and incorporated into the models to explain stock returns more accurately. The research utilizes financial, economic, and accounting information to assess this risk.
