After completing a MSc in Innovation and Technology Management at Grenoble Ecole de Management she joined the school's PhD program in 2009. Poonam is interested in open innovation and her objective is to relate both the implementation decisions and the contextual factors of open innovation with the resulting level of performance. She started developing a number of ideas in this area and is looking to contribute to the study of these phenomena as part of her doctoral work as well as in her future career as a researcher. She has a couple of papers in pipeline on the topic of open innovation. In addition she has published a case study entitled “The bold new world of open innovations: Sustaining dynamic relationships between online platforms, client firms and virtual communities” with the European Case Clearing House (ECCH), a book chapter entitled “The Psychology of Justice in the Workplace: Meaning, Perception & Promotion” for the Praeger Handbook of Social Justice and Psychology and has presented her work in many prestigious academic conferences such as American Marketing Academy, Strategic Management Society, Druid-Dime and British Academy of Management. Besides research, Poonam has experience in teaching the subjects of Global Marketing, International Strategy and Research Methodology at Grenoble Ecole de Management and IAE (University of Grenoble). Poonam was a visiting PhD candidate at the London Business School for the academic year 2011-2012. Besides work, she is passionate about writing short stories and travelling.
