She studies, in particular, under what conditions organizations learn more (less) from their failures, successes and near-misses. She attempts to answer these enquiries through several quantitative studies focused primarily on pharmaceutical and medical devices firms. The second stream of her research investigates the innovation outcomes of an organization’s knowledge networks in terms of search, knowledge creation and invention termination. Her work has been presented in a number of prestigious conferences in the field such as the Academy of Management, Strategic Management Society, DRUID and Carnegie School Organizational Learning conferences.
